At present, face masks are on everyone’s lips rather than in front of everyone, and are even in short supply in the medical and care sector. In order to help where protection is most important, the sensor manufacturer Negele Messtechnik in Egg in Germany has donated 200 of the masks intended for its employees to the city of Memmingen. The city will take care of distribution to the places with the greatest need. Since the company manufactures sensors for the system-relevant industries of food and pharmaceutical production, operations here continue at full capacity. However, by introducing adjustments to working hours, home office and other protective measures, the need for masks was reduced to such an extent that a large proportion could now be donated. With this gesture, the company hopes to make a small contribution to the social solution of this extensive situation.
