It is part of Fortive’s self-conception to support voluntary and social commitment and to carry out such activities itself. This year, a group of employees at Negele Messtechnik got together to collect rubbish on a walk. The team ultimately learnt three things from the campaign:
1. our fellow human beings have a high level of respect for our environment. The amount of waste found was below our expectations (and fears).
2. getting out of the daily work routine with colleagues from different departments helps enormously to talk to each other from an unusual perspective, to see everyday work topics in a new light and simply to be inspired with new ideas and views.
3. doing something good together is great fun!
