Refractometer: IRM-11 Refractometer

The inline refractometer IRM-11 continuously and precisely measures the concentration of substances such as sugar or salts in liquids. This enables the determination of the alcohol content, the blending ratio of juices, mixed drinks and soft drinks, or the dry matter in milk products.
The inline analysis of the concentration with IRM-11 by determining the °Brix, °Plato or refractive index value nD offers particular advantages. In many applications measurements are taken using a hand refractometer. To avoid deviations in product quality, these manual measurements must be carried out at very short intervals, often every 20 minutes. The measurement with IRM-11 takes place fully automatically at the desired time interval (adjustable from 2 s). This leads to a substantial working time and cost saving potential and reduces the risk of product loss between two measurements.
