Many products are often not repairable, as they are permanently sealed and cannot be opened without compromising performance or hygienic integrity. In most cases, only basic maintenance—such as cleaning, calibration, and certification if required—is possible.



Items typically not eligible for repair include:



  • All pressure-based level sensors
  • Pressure transmitters and any gauges with physical damage to the fitting or diaphragm
  • Digital thermometers



In these cases, replacement is usually required.



Estimated Replacement Pricing:



  • Products less than 5 years old: Typically, 90% of the new list price
  • Products over 5 years old: Typically 85% of the new list price



Note: Many products are not repairable due to sealed construction and will require replacement.

If your product requires evaluation or cannot be quoted without inspection, request an RMA through your distributor. Distributors can access our secure portal and issue the RMA directly to you.



Items that require return for evaluation:



  • Flow products (meters, controllers, printers)
  • Recorders, controllers, digital indicators
  • Analytical products (sensors, analyzers, transmitters)

What Happens After Return?

  • “OK to Proceed” Items: We’ll immediately process a replacement order at standard lead time.
  • Quote or Warranty Requests: Your item will be evaluated. A repair/replacement quote will be emailed to your distributor within 5–7 business days.
  • No Response Policy: If we don’t receive a response within 30 days of quoting, the item will be either returned unrepaired or scrapped.
