Separator monitoring with ITM-4 turbidity meter at GEA Westfalia Separator GmbH
As a renowned manufacturer of centrifugal separators, GEA Westfalia Separator GmbH in Oelde (Germany) has been choosing Negele sensors for a long time. For so-called "separator monitoring" in wine cellars and vinification plants, our ITM-4 four-beam turbidity meter has long been established.
Before the wine or must is bottled, it is separated, i.e. particles and sediment are removed. At the separator outlet, the ITM-4 4-stream turbidity meter continually monitors the purity of the product. Through this in-line measurement, a constant separating capacity is guaranteed and thus the quality of the product is maintained.
